Come si fa una frenata d'emergenza? E qual è il
modo migliore per mantenere una traiettoria corretta in curva? Dopo
aver imparato a parcheggiare, a fare le partenze in salita e a tenere
il piede sulla frizione per cambiare marcia, non è detto che si sappia
guidare bene; almeno secondo un criterio che è quello della sicurezza
stradale. Così per il secondo anno è scattato il semaforo verde del
Campionato Italiano Guida Sicura, rivolto a giovani automobilisti di
età compresa tra i 18 e i 25 anni: la gara si compone di vari passaggi
si va dai quiz teorici on line, con simulazioni virtuali, alle prove
dinamiche di guida in autodromo.
Attraverso l'iscrizione online e il gioco virtuale
si accede alla prima fase della gara: il giocatore per superare il
primo step dovrà rispondere correttamente ad alcune domande a quiz
sulla sicurezza stradale. I ragazzi promossi, divisi a seconda delle
aree regionali di provenienza, saranno poi chiamati nel mese di maggio
a guidare in pista, affrontando prove di abilità dinamiche in
situazioni stradali di guida "positiva", cioè in condizioni normali di
uso del veicolo, e "negativa", ovvero in condizioni limite dovute ad
esempio a un fondo stradale viscido o a errori del guidatore. Al
termine di questa seconda fase verranno selezionati i finalisti.
L'ultima prova che decreterà il campione 2006 si svolgerà dal 21 al 24
settembre all'autodromo di Varano dè Melegari in provincia di Parma
(dove ha sede il Centro Internazionale di Guida Sicura); il circuito è
rappresentativo di un normale percorso stradale urbano e non. E su
questa pista i ragazzi finalisti si confronteranno per l'assegnazione
del titolo di Campione Italiano Assoluto, Campione Femminile e Campione
Junior.
